entry_01

hello to the very few people reading this. i have tried doing these journal entries before, but the website wasn’t really ready for it, and i was still working on the first project and just didn’t have time for it. it feels like the right time to come back to it now — i’ve got a lot of stuff ready. but this is still defs just going to be an intro journal entry, nothing too crazy. just a start. got a vlog coming soon that will entail a whole lot more.

tomorrow i get the keys to my new place that i’m moving to, and right now i have the flu for the second time in the last 30 days. my immune system is so terrible. i can’t wait though — this year has been a weird one for sure. i have been living in paddington in a 2 x 2.5 m bedroom. i am super thankful for it, and i got to share the house with some of my best friends, but it has been so limiting with what i can actually do at home. i started renting a studio in the valley, and for the first six months i tried to get away with not paying for parking. my devious actions eventually caught up to me, and i got absolutely flamed in september with parking fines Lol. chillin now tho.

been doing heaps of videos for other people lately and they im actually so happy with all the bands i get the honor of working with. so happy with how they are turning out and i think brisbane is so fucking good right now. just did an editing session today with charlotte meade, and her new song is so good; music video for that is so fun. i will post a link in my next entry to view it.

also my letterboxd username is just 'koady' so check it out. i just watched do the right thing with hayden the other day too; that movie is so, so good. i have also been watching a bunchhhhh of stuff on TUBI. i think hayden and i are going to go to GOMA tomorrow afternoon and watch barry lyndon as well (UPDATE: we did not go and see that). i haven’t seen it yet, but i know it’s long as fuck.

i’m unsure how personal to make these entries. i’m going to try and keep them as a stream of consciousness, with as little editing as possible. i want to make sure i actually talk about stuff and not just talk about the fact that i’m doing a journal. this is like the intro one.

also for those reading this far, i am announcing a show tomorrow, but i'll let you know early just because you actually read this. i'm going to be playing with sleepazoid at blute's bar in fortitude valley in march. pls come it'll be awesome. also i went for a walk today in my new suburb and the butcher is selling $1 chicken -
